POS Terminals are equipped with contactless technology and can be of different types:
- stationary (communication line - internet);
- mobile (GPRS – through the SIM card, which is offered by maib);
- integrated (can be integrated with the merchant's cash register and control systems);
- embedded (can be integrated with coffee machines, parking solutions, car wash stations, PECO stations, etc.).

All maib POS Terminals accept contactless cards. This technology involves making payments by touching the card to the POS Terminal screen. The transaction speed is only 3 seconds.
- Stationary POS Terminal- standard terminal for retail activity.
- Mobile POS Terminal- for certain types of activity (HoReCa or courier services), a mobile POS Terminal with a built-in SIM card is offered;
- Integrated POS Terminal – the integration is carried out with the checkout and control system / fiscal machine based on the protocol offered by maib.

The space where the POS Terminal is going to be installed must be equipped with an electrical outlet and an Internet router with a free outlet for the cable from the POS Terminal.
Note:For certain types of activity (HoReCa or courier services), the bank offers a mobile POS Terminal with a built-in SIM card.
According to the contract, the bank has 30 days, but usually, it lasts about 7-10 days.
The funds will be transferred on the next working day after closing the POS Terminal's working day.
