Role Overview:

As the Product Owner for Loans, you will play a strategic and high-impact role in defining and evolving our consumer finance and mortgage loan offerings. Key Responsibilities:

• Shape the Future of Lending: Lead the development of a compelling product vision and roadmap for consumer finance and mortgage loan solutions. Align these with broader business objectives and the evolving needs of our customers to drive product success.
• Drive Innovation and Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance experts, and technology teams, to gather actionable insights and prioritize features that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Agile Leadership & Execution: Take ownership of agile processes, guiding the team through sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure efficient and timely delivery of product features while maintaining an agile and adaptive work environment.
• Product Backlog Management: Develop, prioritize, and maintain a clear, actionable product backlog. Write user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and alignment with overall business goals.
• Market & Industry Insights: Conduct deep market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities in the loan space. Use insights to keep the product offering ahead of the curve and continuously evolve.
• User-Centered Design: Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, easy-to-use loan application interfaces that elevate the customer experience, streamline the application process, and reduce friction.
• Data-Driven Success Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of loan products post-launch. Use data insights to drive continuous improvements and ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure Compliance & Best Practices: Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory standards and industry best practices. Ensure all loan products comply with applicable laws and regulations, mitigating risk while providing exceptional service to customers.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned Product Owner with a proven track record in financial services, particularly in consumer finance and mortgage lending.
• Deep knowledge of loan products, the customer lifecycle, and industry regulations, with a passion for innovation in financial products.
• Adept in agile methodologies (preferably Scrum or Kanban) and skilled at leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products.
• An exceptional communicator, capable of building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyze product performance, interpret key metrics, and make decisions that optimize outcomes.
