From July 1, 2023, as a result of the evolution of the EURIBOR 6M and SOFR international reference indexes, the interest rate on foreign currency mortgage granted by maib to individuals will increase.
During July 1 - December 31, 2023, the value of the reference index will constitute:
- 3.72% on loans in EUR;
- 5.08% on loans in USD.
You can check how much the interest rate will be with a simple calculation:
Interest rate = reference index (3.72%) + bank margin (you can find the value in the contract).
From July 1, 2023, the new loan repayment plan will be available in the branch or in the maibank mobile app.
