Dear customer,
The Population and Housing Census occurs every ten years and is being conducted in our country between April 8 and July 7 this year.
Please be vigilant and take note of the following:
- the census questionnaire does not include questions about your bank data, i.e. if you are asked about your card number, PIN code and other personal data, alert the authorities immediately;
- only provide answers to people employed by the National Bureau of Statistics. The census taker is required to show ID and wear clothing with the census logo;
- census data is collected on a tablet and only by face-to-face interview, not over the phone or via social media or online;
- you can check the identity of the census taker on the Hotline, by calling 0800 800 24.
Remember: if your bank data is safe, your money is safe, too.
