Update your personal data online, via maibank

To continue using your banking products and services without interruption, your personal information needs to be accurate and up to date. 

This is a legal requirement for all bank customers and helps ensure account security and regulatory compliance. 

With the maibank app, you can update your data digitally, without visiting a branch or filling out paper forms. 

What can you update online? 

• D document (national ID or passport) 
• Phone number 
• Residential or registered address 
• Other relevant personal information 

Who can update data online? 

• Individual customers with a maib account 
• Holders of a valid Moldovan ID 
• maibank app users 
• Including those living abroad, with an international number from one of the 31 eligible countries 

How to update your data in the app 

1. Open the maibank app 
2. Go to your Profile 
3. Select “Update data” 
4. Follow the verification steps 
5. The process takes only a few minutes and is fully digital. 

Countries eligible for online updates with an international number 

You can update your personal data online if you use a phone number from one of the following countries: 

Austria, England, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Wales, Hungary. 

If you have a number from one of these countries and a valid Moldovan ID, you can update your data in the maibank app — without returning to Moldova.
