Maib optimizes costs for entrepreneurs: advantageous SmartPOS rates

To facilitate electronic payments and reduce operational costs, maib is launching an offer with optimized rates for SmartPOS users, tailored to the needs of small and independent businesses. 

New SmartPOS rates 

• For Visa/Mastercard cards issued by maib: 1.2% 
• For Visa/Mastercard cards issued by other banks in the Republic of Moldova: 1.2% 
• For Visa/Mastercard cards issued by foreign banks: 2.5% 

If the monthly transaction volume exceeds 3,000 MDL, the monthly fee remains 0 MDL. For transactions below 3,000 MDL, the fee is 100 MDL/month. 

SmartPOS benefits: 

• Your Android phone becomes a POS terminal, ready to accept payments; 
• Transactions are fiscalized online via Intelectsoft or SoftLider; 
• Your customers can pay easily and quickly, either with a Visa card or directly from their digital wallet. 

The new SmartPOS rates are designed for clients who keep local trade moving, make fairs livelier, and turn ideas into reality. 

If you are already a maib client and use SmartPOS, you can benefit from the new rates only by signing a new contract.
