Changes to motor third-party liability insurance (RCA) and the Green Card come into force on 4 October 2026. Take out your policy online via maib business

From 4 October 2026, the new basic insurance premiums, adjustment coefficients and reference premiums for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (RCA) will come into force, as approved by Decision of the Executive Board of the National Bank of Moldova No. 198 of 20 August 2026.

The new provisions may affect the cost of RCA policies issued from this date onwards, depending on the vehicle category and other factors set out in the regulations in force.

If your policy is due to expire soon or you are planning to take out a new one, now is the right time to act. Policies issued before the new rates take effect will be concluded under the terms and conditions applicable on the date of issuance.
