About Open Banking
Open Banking is a financial services model that enables banking users to open their financial data through APIs with authorized TPPs – including banks and regulated FinTech companies.
Open Banking empowers users to have more control over their financial data being able to manage the access to their accounts and transactions through an explicit consent.

We empower TPPs to discover, test and consume our Open Banking APIs so that we enable our customers to manage their finances and payments in new ways.
Following NBM requirements, maib implemented Open Banking APIs based on Berlin Group Standard 1.3.

How to start?
At maib, we provide Access to Account (XS2A) services through our Open Banking API.
To get started, please follow these steps:
Obtain the necessary regulatory permission (certification) from NBM.
Download the API collection and follow the supporting scripts for TPPs.
Start discovering and testing.
