How to get an Ingenico POS terminal
In just a few simple steps, you can start accepting card and QR MIA payments.
1. Choose how you would like to submit your request
You can choose one of the following options:
- Online — complete the form on our website, and one of our specialists will contact you to discuss the solution that best suits your business;
- At a branch — visit any maib branch and submit your application in person.
2. Prepare and submit the required documents
- Extract from the State Register of Legal Entities, issued no more than 6 months ago;
- Identity card of the company's administrator;
- Identity cards of the beneficial owners holding more than 25% of the company's share capital.
3. Application submission and review
Once your request has been submitted together with the required documents, your application will be processed. If additional information or documents are required, our team will contact you.
4. Terminal configuration
Our specialists will configure the POS terminal according to your business requirements.
5. Terminal delivery
Once all the above steps have been completed, the terminal will be delivered to the address you provided.

POS Terminals are equipped with contactless technology and can be of different types:
- stationary (communication line - internet);
- mobile (GPRS - via SIM card, which is provided by maib);
- integrated (they can be integrated with the merchant's fiscal cash and control systems);
- embedded (can be integrated with coffee machines, car park and car wash solutions, gas stations, etc.).

All maib POS Terminals accept contactless cards. This technology involves making payments by touching the card to the POS Terminal screen. The transaction is completed in just 3 seconds
- POS Stationary Terminal - standard terminal for retail activity.
- Mobile POS Terminal - for certain types of activity (HoReCa or courier services) mobile POS Terminal with embedded SIM-card is offered;
- Integrated POS Terminal - integration is performed with the cash register and control system / tax machine based on the protocol provided by maib.
The space, where the POS Terminal is to be installed, must be equipped with an electrical outlet and an internet router with a free outlet for the POS Terminal cable.
Note: For certain types of activity (HoReCa or courier services) the bank offers mobile POS Terminal with built-in SIM-card.
According to the contract, the bank has 30 days, but usually, it lasts about 7-10 days.
The funds will be transferred on the next working day after closing the POS Terminal's working day.
