New security options in maib business: Launching the 2FA pilot with Passkey and Google Authenticator

Dear maib business user,

Today, between 20:30 and 22:00, scheduled maintenance and update works will be carried out on the maib business platform.

Platform availability:
Maib business will remain available during the update. However, some functionalities may experience delays or temporary unavailability.

What’s new?
As part of this update, we are launching, in pilot mode, two new two-factor authentication (2FA) options designed to provide an even higher level of security:

• Passkey – a modern and simplified authentication method;
• Google Authenticator – an additional two-factor authentication (2FA) option based on one-time verification codes.

During the pilot phase, these new authentication options will be available exclusively to newly created users in maib business.

Following the successful completion of the pilot and validation of the results, these authentication methods will be rolled out and made available to all maib business users.
