This survey is conducted by maib to assess recent developments in business activity across the Republic of Moldova and to support the development of a Business Activity Index for the local economy.
Please complete the questionnaire based on your company’s experience during the current quarter compared with the previous quarter.
You do not need to consult accounting records, calculate exact figures, or provide numerical data. The survey is based on your professional assessment of how your company’s business conditions have changed compared with the previous quarter.
Please consider the company’s overall situation rather than isolated events or individual transactions.
The questionnaire should be completed by a person with a good understanding of the company’s current business conditions, such as the owner, CEO, CFO, or another member of senior management.
The survey takes approximately 3 minutes to complete.
The information collected through this survey will be used exclusively for statistical, economic research, and analytical purposes. Individual responses will be treated as confidential and will not be published, disclosed, or used for credit assessment, credit risk evaluation, marketing decisions, or other individual commercial decisions concerning your company. Survey results will be analyzed only in aggregated form. No individual respondent or company will be identifiable in any such analysis.
Respondents may request information about how their data are processed and may exercise the rights available under applicable data-protection legislation. You may also request at any time to stop receiving invitations to participate in future surveys by contacting economics@maib.md.
Companies that actively participate in the survey will periodically receive selected economic insights prepared by maib and shared through dedicated materials, including macroeconomic summaries, sectoral analysis, and selected forecasts of key indicators relevant to business planning. The survey is intended to create a two-way exchange of value. Participating companies contribute to the development of a new high-frequency economic indicator for Moldova while receiving timely and practical economic intelligence that may support budgeting, investment planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
