Request money has a new design and new options for shared expenses

We’ve updated the Request money feature in maibank. You can now request money from multiple people in a single action when sharing expenses with friends, colleagues or family.

What’s new?

Select multiple people and create a single request directly in the app. You can choose how to split the expense: the total amount can be automatically divided equally among all participants, or you can set a different amount for each person.

You can also add a message so participants know what the payment is for. After sending the requests, you can view them all in one place and track who has transferred the money and who hasn’t yet. Unpaid requests can also be cancelled.

When is it useful?

The new feature is ideal for any shared expense, such as:

• a restaurant bill;
• gifts bought together;
• trips and travel;
• fuel;
• events;
• group purchases.

No need to calculate each person’s share separately, send multiple requests one by one, or ask who still hasn’t transferred the money.
