This time, we proudly announce about the maib volunteer team that participated in the "Masa Bucuriei" campaign, organized nationally by the Social Mission "Diaconia" on the Easter holidays’s eve.
Maib volunteers encouraged people who were shopping in the stores from the capital and regions to donate grocery for a noble cause – to give needy people a warm meal and a reason to smile.
"It was a unique experience. I didn't expect people to be so open to do good. Once again, I understood that appearances are deceptive. The people you thought would donate more didn't offer anything, while those you didn't expect came with a full bag", said Angela Goraș, maib volunteer in the campaign.
Volunteer teams also helped in the warehouse to sort the products.
"Being a volunteer is an incredible experience. We could directly see the positive impact we brought through our involvement in this initiative", said Elena Cozma, maib volunteer in the campaign.
