Maib continues to support Ukrainian citizens and refugees in the Republic of Moldova due to the war in the neighboring country through monthly contributions.
In October, the donation of the largest bank in the country to the special account opened by the Government of the Republic of Moldova amounted 584,045 MDL. Maib customers and employees donated 32,840 MDL to the "Help Ukraine" special account through maibank and at self-service terminals, and 551,205 MDL constitute the amount from the transactions made with maib cards.
This donation, together with those from the previous months reached a total of 5,583,624 MDL, an amount as impressive as it is essential for Ukrainian refugees.
The bank urges maib cardholders who want to support this initiative to make as many payments and transactions with the cards as possible, thus contributing to the common goal of helping Ukrainian citizens and refugees on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. We remind you that every month the bank transfers a fixed amount for each transaction made with a debit or credit card issued by maib and for each payment made at any POS terminal and in the e-commerce network.
