Maib participated in the Table Tennis Tournament, organized for charity by Hospice Angelus Moldova

Maib, along with about 40 representatives from 11 national companies and the diplomatic corps accredited in our country, also participated this year at the Table Tennis Tournament, organized by Hospice Angelus Moldova.

In the contest, the competition took second place because, as a first step, each team set out to support the noble mission of helping Ukrainian refugees and of raising funds for offering free quality palliative care to people suffering from diseases in advanced stages. Maib contributed a donation of 800 euros for the patients' urgent needs.

Each team was made up of 3 members. From the bank's team, Valeriu Pîslaru, Ignat Chiriac and Alexandru Postolachi demonstrated a professional game, supporting the movement and active way of life.

Valeriu Pîslaru, maib employee, a participant in the tournament:

"The tour organized by Hospice Angelus Moldova has had a special connotation both in terms of excellent organization and because this time the companies represented in the tour have made donations, including for refugees from Ukraine. As a participant in all table tennis tournaments organized by Hospice Angelus Moldova over several years, I say that this time, the organizers have managed to put our participation in the tournament at the forefront and focused on the gratitude for the participation of companies. I felt the organizers' gratitude by looking at them, through words, by supporting them throughout the game!".

Ignat Chiriac, maib employee, tournament participant:

"As an employee, I am honored that the maib has participated in and participated in such charitable events. It is an honorable and generous, graceful gesture, and we, the ones who played tennis, have experienced a particularly proud feeling that we are part of the maib team."

Every year, about 2500 patients benefit free from the services of Hospice Angelus Moldova, while Casa Angelus houses about 300 children who suffer from the pain of incurable illness.

We are better through joint efforts!
