Maib announces the results of the public offer of municipal bonds issued by the Chisinau City Hall

Maib announces the successful end of the subscription period for the public offer of municipal bonds issued by the Chisinau City Hall. Thus, the National Financial Market Commission approved the report on the results of the issue.

The citizens showed great interest in financing the modernization project of the trolleybus fleet of Chisinau, thus contributing to the development of quality transport services, with 56 subscribers, including 3 legal entities and 53 individuals. The bonds were placed in a total volume of 65 million lei, provided in the "Prospectus of the primary public offer of municipal bonds issued by the Chisinau City Hall".

Bonds will be admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Moldovan Stock Exchange and, as a result, those wishing to invest in bonds will be able to benefit from this possibility in the future.

We remind you that the subscription took place between March 7 and 28, this year, the nominal value of a bond being 1000 lei, and the circulation term is 7 years.

Municipal bonds represent securities issued by cities or other local administrative-territorial forms. These institutions can issue municipal bond issues for capital investments. The issuance of municipal bonds offers the possibility to attract investors through the capital market, as well as the diversification of investment instruments in conditions of maximum transparency.
