In the context of the strategic initiative to transform maib network, we are implementing a new concept of branch naming.
The bank’s branches will now be appointed according to a single standard and can be identified more easily. The single standard is reduced from 4 to 2 types of names applied to the entire branch network:
- name according to the street where the branch is located (in the case of branches in Chisinau and Balti, where there are several branches in the same city);
- name according to the location of the branch (in the case of branches in the rest of the country’s municipalities, where there is a branch in the district).
According to the unique standard, as of January 24, 22 branches in Chisinau will have new names and 36 branches in the country will keep their current name.
