Maib – strategic partner of the “Backpack with a Future” national solidarity campaign, organized by Caritas Moldova Charitable Foundation

There are children who count down the days until school starts. And there are children who count the school supplies they still don’t have. For many of them, a new backpack means more than just notebooks, pencils, or textbooks. It means walking into the classroom with their heads held high. It means not feeling different. It means believing that their dreams deserve the same chance.

At maib, we believe that education opens doors, and every child deserves to embark on this journey with confidence. For this reason, maib has decided to support, as a strategic partner, the 10th edition of the national campaign “Backpack with a Future”, organized by Caritas Moldova, by donating 200 backpacks.

From July 23 to August 15, the campaign aims to provide 500 children from vulnerable families across the country with backpacks and the necessary school supplies. For these children, the start of the school year is often a time of both excitement and worry that they will not have the necessary supplies for learning.

We are delighted to partner with Caritas Moldova on this initiative and encourage anyone who can contribute to do so. Held under the slogan “You fill it with school supplies. Caritas Moldova fills it with hope”, the campaign brings together people and companies who believe that no child should have to give up on education because of financial hardship.

“For a child from a family facing hardship, a new backpack means more than just notebooks and pencils, it’s a concrete step toward staying in the education system and a chance at a better life. With the support of the community and our partners, we can turn these children’s fear into confidence.”

Every donation means more than just a few school supplies. It means a morning when a child sets off for school with a smile on their face. Financial contributions help purchase the necessary school supplies. Donations can be made directly on the secure platform www.caritas.md.
