Maib has joined the national initiative “FACEM Investiții BKG”, launched by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) in partnership with the Polish Development Bank BGK, to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Moldova in making investments that accelerate the energy transition and reduce the impact of climate change.
Program objective
FACEM Investiții BKG program aims to stimulate the growth of the national economy by offering SMEs favourable loans based on eligibility, personalised consultancy, knowledge transfer, and bonus vouchers to incentivise entrepreneurs who actively contribute to building a green economy.
As a financial partner, maib facilitates access to this program through a simplified and transparent process, catalysing the sustainable transformation of Moldova’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Financing terms offered by maib:
- Minimum loan amount: MDL equivalent of 5,000 EUR
- Maximum loan amount: MDL equivalent of 375,000 EUR
- Repayment period: up to 6 years
- Preferential fixed interest rates:
- 5,5% în MDL
- 4,5% in EUR
- Minimal own contribution from the entrepreneur
- Flexible use of funds: for equipment, machinery, installations, and real estate

- the bank registers your project on the FACEM platform, and the project is then evaluated for eligibility;
- coordinate all details remotely with maib representatives (by phone or email), and receive a preliminary offer by email
