Maib rockstars: celebrating the people behind the achievements

Some results are reflected in figures, others – in a client’s experience, in an idea turned into a solution, in a project brought to fruition, or in a better way of doing things.

Behind all these results are people. It is these people that maib rockstars is all about – one of the events that has become a tradition at maib, dedicated to recognising colleagues who, through their professionalism, commitment and results, contribute to our shared success and to the experience we offer our clients.

Held twice a year, maib rockstars puts the spotlight on the people and contributions that make a difference.

At the most recent edition, over 100 colleagues from across the bank were recognised for their achievements – from the front office and back office, from support functions and across all business lines: Retail, Business Banking and Corporate.

This edition also marked a first: special awards for maib staff contributing to the development of artificial intelligence projects – a key area for the bank’s long-term transformation and growth.

Macar Stoianov, Deputy Chairman of maib, remarked:

Svetlana Bodaci, Human Resources Director at maib, emphasised:
