New in maibank: track your progress toward zero card service fee with the Smart Pricing tool

From now on, you can easily track your monthly progress toward a zero service fee with the new Smart Pricing tool in maibank. 

Everything is displayed clearly — an intuitive progress bar in your card menu shows how much you’ve already spent and how much remains to reach a zero monthly fee. 

How it works: 

• Open the maibank app 
• Select your card 
• In the card menu, under Benefits, find the Smart Pricing tool 

What is Smart Pricing? 

Smart Pricing is a feature that allows you to enjoy a zero monthly service fee when you reach a minimum amount of cashless payments each month. 

What types of payments are eligible? 

Eligible payments include card transactions made at merchants — in-store, online, locally or abroad, as well as utility payments made via maibank. 

Not included: 

• money transfers (P2P, IBAN, SAPI, SWIFT, SEPA, etc.) or payments via QR / QR MIA; 
• incoming transfers to your card; 
• cash withdrawals at ATMs or POS terminals in maib branches; 
• transfers between your own accounts. 

Only financially debited transactions from the current month are counted. Payments still being processed will be included in the next month’s turnover. 

For newly issued cards, the month of issuance is a grace period — turnover is not counted, and no monthly service fee applies. 

The calculation of eligible payments for Smart Pricing begins on the first day of the following month. 

What happens if you don’t meet the conditions? 

If you don’t reach the required amount, the standard monthly card service fee will apply, according to the current tariffs.
