A new feature in maibank: users can check and pay traffic fines directly in the app

There are things people keep putting off not because they are complicated, but because they take time, attention, and one more trip. Traffic fines are one of them.

That is why maib is introducing a new service in maibank that allows users to see whether they have any active fines, check the amount of each one, and pay them instantly, directly from the app they use every day.

How the service works:

Step 1. The user opens the “Payments” page in maibank and selects the traffic fines service.
Step 2. The user subscribes to the service and gives consent to the processing of personal data.
Step 3. The user immediately gets access to information about active traffic fines or sees a message confirming that there are no fines.
Step 4. If there are any, all active fines are displayed in the app, together with the amount of each one.
Step 5. When the user taps on an active fine, they are immediately taken to the payment process.

With this new service, maib brings another useful solution to maibank, created for users’ everyday needs. For them, this means having the information they need and one more situation that can be resolved easily, directly from their phone.
