A premiere in banking: maib has granted the first 100% online business loan, directly in the maib business app

Maib marks a new milestone in the digitalization of financial services for companies — the first 100% online loan offered through the maib business app. This first-of-its-kind solution on the Moldovan banking market introduces a fully end-to-end online process, from application to fund disbursement, with no physical documents or branch visits required.

Maib Premiere – Full End-to-End Online Process 

For the first time in Moldova’s banking history, business clients can obtain a loan entirely online, directly through the maib business app. The process is 100% digital and offers multiple advantages to business clients, including speed, transparency, and simpler credit management. 

Availability and Onboarding 

In the first stage, the solution is available for companies with a single founder. By the end of the year, all clients will be able to onboard and access the online loan through the maib business app, depending on their calculated credit limits.  

Loan Conditions  

Initially, the online loan can be accessed for a period of up to 60 months, with a fixed interest rate of 9.88% for the first 12 months. No collateral is required, and the loan can be used both for working capital and for investment purposes.  

Maib Business – a new feature for loan management 

To enable more efficient financial management, maib has introduced a new feature in the maib business app, allowing clients to view and sort their company’s active loan lists. This service enhances transparency and control, providing instant access to essential financial information anytime, anywhere. 

How to access your loan list in the maib business mobile app: 

• select the desired company 
• tap the “Products” button in the bottom navigation bar 
• under the list of cards and deposits, find the “Loans” option 
• tap “See All” on the right-hand side 
• on the dedicated loan page, you can use the sorting and advanced search options
