The best athletes of 2019, the best coaches, and the best sports federations were awarded in the event "Olympic Dinner", traditionally organized by the National Olympic and Sports Committee.
For over 20 years of being a partner of the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS), promoting sports and the Olympic movement in our country, Moldova Agroindbank has awarded prizes in the category "Best Athletes of the Year", appreciating the performance of Olympics in various competitions on the national and international arena.
The title "Best Athlete of the Year" was awarded by: Victor Ciobanu, Greco-Roman fighting; Zalina Petrivskaia, athletics; Stepan Dimitrov, taekwondo; Piotr Ianulov, wrestling; Dorin Goţonoaga, judo; Maxim Salcuţan, free fights; Radu Albot, tennis; Dan Olaru, archery; Oleg Tarnovschi, kayak canoe; Alexandra Mîrca, archery.
"We express our appreciation for being the best athletes in the Republic of Moldova and thank you for giving us so many beautiful reasons to hold your fists at various competitions where you are the ambassadors of our country on the international sports arena", told the Olympians Eugeniu Josan, Head of the Human Resources and Organization Department of the MAIB, during the award ceremony.
At the same time, for promoting sport and the Olympic movement in our country, Moldova Agroindbank was awarded the trophy "Sport without borders". The National Olympic and Sports Committee greatly appreciated the partnership with MAIB and the fact that "The strongest bank is with those best athletes in Moldova, convincing us that the power lies in us", mentioned Nicolae Juravschi, President of CNOS.
We note that, according to tradition, this year, the entire Moldova Agroindbank team will hold the fists for Moldovan athletes qualified for the Tokyo Olympics: Zalina Petrivskaia, Sergei Marghiev, Dimitriana Surdu, Anastasia Nichita, Alexandra Marca, Tatiana Salcutan, Lilia Fisikovici. We wish success and Olympic laurels to the athletes of our country!
