What you’ll need 

• A valid Moldovan ID card or passport 
• To be physically present in Moldova or in one of the 31 eligible countries 
• A national or international phone number from an eligible country 
• A smartphone with internet access and the maibank app installed 

Who can open an account 

• Exclusively Moldovan citizens aged 18+ with a valid ID card or passport 
• Individuals who don’t already have an active account with maib 
• Those located in Moldova or in one of the 31 eligible countries
