Olympic Eco Fest 2022 – sport harmoniously combined with ecology alongside CNOS and maib

Maib supports the healthy way of lifestyle, sport and the Olympic movement, as well as the care for nature and the environment, and the event that brings all these aspects together is Olympic Eco Fest 2022.

Organized by the National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova and supported by maib, Olympic Eco Fest 2022 has already marked its 7th edition, taking place this year on the traditionally on October 1st in Valea Morilor Park fromin the capital city.

Also at the 7th edition was the "Golden Canoe: Juravschi-Reneiski" Cup was at the 7th edition, organized by the Kayak-Canoe Federation, in which 60 athletes participated this year. Mihai Chihaia took first place in the men's canoe section and Elena Glizan in the women's one. In the men's kayak section, Eugen Ceban triumphed, and in the women's kayak section - Anastasia Ratnic.

Several sports, greening, and sanitation activities were carried out with the generic "We practice sports in a clean environment! We are responsible for greening our planet!" at the event.

The participants planted shrubs together with valuable athletes of the country such as Denis Vieru, Serghei Tarnovschi, Victor Sterpu, Victor Ciobanu, Zalina Marghieva, Daniela Cociu, Oleg Tarnovschi, Andrian Mardare, Dan Olaru and others, contributing to the greening of the planet and the growth responsibility towards the environment.

Demonstrations of karate, taekwondo, fencing, gymnastics, as well as dances, quizzes and contests, were among the activities enjoyed by those attending the event, and children took pictures and had fun at the maib junior booth.

For about 20 years, maib has been a partner of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova, supporting performance and mass sports, the Olympic movement and a healthy lifestyle.
