28 maib people complete programs at world’s top-ranked business schools

Continuous learning and professional development are part of the maib culture.

In recent months, 28 maib people have taken part in a learning experience that connected them with some of the world’s most highly ranked business schools. They took part in online programs led by professors and practitioners who are shaping industries, exchanged ideas with professionals from different countries, and discovered new perspectives on the challenges they face on a daily basis. In some programs, dialogue with virtual tutors powered by artificial intelligence complemented the learning experience, providing personalised feedback and insights tailored to each participant.

At the end of these months of study, maib people gained not only new knowledge but also plenty of inspiration and a desire to turn what they had learnt into ever more valuable experiences for over a million clients.

These moments were celebrated along with the completion of the second edition of the Exclusive Staff Incentive Program, through which maib people had access to programs held by Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, INSEAD and Productside.

Each participant designed their own learning pathway, choosing the areas that would help them create greater value in their work: artificial intelligence, Design Thinking, Strategy, Product management, Digital Marketing and Innovation, depending on their professional goals and the impact they wished to make within their teams.

One of the participants in the Exclusive Staff Incentive Program – Ecaterina Larina, Head of Development and Internal Communication Band, confirmed that this program was a life-changing experience, having chosen a field that enables her to apply on a daily basis what she has learnt in her work.

Iulian Zadnipru, Product Owner, Open Banking and Investments Band was looking for a course that would address directly the challenges he faces in his work at maib, and the program was exactly what he needed. He realised that many of the challenges he faced are common to professionals around the world and that there are proven solutions for them.

Neonila Negruța, Regional Director, HUB Botanica, emphasised that from the moment she learnt about this program, she knew that it was the right opportunity for her, as it helped her better understand how she can create a better experience for employees and, by extension, for clients. This is everyone’s day-to-day mission, and maib continues to transform the clients’ experience by investing in people.

This initiative continues the tradition that began in 2023 – when participation in Stanford Executive Program was launched – which marked a turning point in the development of visionary leadership at maib. Since then, the bank has consistently created exclusive opportunities for employees to learn from global best practices and bring them home, in the Republic of Moldova.
