As the leader of the banking sector and the first bank in Moldova to embrace agile transformation, maib is delighted to inspire and share its accumulated experience, lessons learned, and insights into the transformation journey it has undertaken. Recently, maib hosted around 50 representatives from 15 foreign banks participating in 4Future Banking | Banking 4.0: Hyper-Personalization & Seamless CX, organized by Earlyone. During the event, maib shared its expertise in digital transformation, with a focus on internal cultural changes and other key aspects of its development journey.
Giorgi Shagidze, CEO of maib, spoke about the bank’s agile transformation, sharing both experiences and challenges along the journey. "Through the Agile approach, we don’t just adapt processes—we create an ecosystem where clients are at the center of everything we do, and progress becomes part of our daily culture," emphasized Giorgi.

Svetlana Bodaci, HR Director at maib, spoke about the steps that shaped and strengthened the bank’s internal culture, the results achieved in attracting and developing talent, and how values such as transparency and responsibility are embedded in the organization.
The visit continued with a tour of the maib park headquarters, where guests explored how teams work in an agile format, as well as one of maib branches, to see how the principles of innovation are reflected in client interactions and the experiences the bank creates.
