BC "Moldova Agroindbank" SA was designated the "Best Bank in Moldova" in 2018. The title was reconfirmed by the prestigious international magazine "Global Banking & Finance review" shortly after the influential magazine "Global Finance" conferred the same title to the leader of the domestic banking market.
The evaluation was conducted based on the opinions of the Global Banking & Finance review experts, independent professionals, and the reading public. For the conclusions, the jury took into account the performance indices of banks, including assets, loans, deposits, distribution network, diversity and accessibility of products and services.
Serghei CEBOTARI, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, mentioned in the context:
"We are proud that Moldova Agroindbank has obtained this prestigious award for the sixth consecutive year. This fact confirms the firm position of the institution, the indisputable leader of the banking market in the Republic of Moldova, the sustainability of the processes carried out by the bank, the importance of MAIB for the economic development of the country, as well as the trust of the partners in the bank I have the honour to run".
Moldova Agroindbank is the leader of the national banking system, holding a market share of about 30% on the most crucial performance indicators. MAIB's results are due to the vision shared by the entire team, well-thought-out development strategy, high-performance management, consistently implemented corporate governance culture, and high level of social responsibility.
During its 27 years of activity, the institution's performance was recognized by specialized international institutions and publications, which nominated MAIB as "The Best Bank in Moldova".
