Maib continues to invest in people and in building an organisational culture based on collaboration, trust and open communication. The latest edition of maib’s New Employee Day brought together over 100 colleagues who have joined the team in recent months. It was an opportunity to gain a better understanding of maib’s culture and values, to meet the leadership team and, above all, to have an open discussion about their experiences during their first few months at the bank.
For maib, integrating new colleagues means more than simply familiarising them with the bank and the culture that defines us. It means creating, right from the start, a space where people can connect, express their ideas and better understand everyone’s role in achieving our shared goals.
The dialogue was one of the key moments of the event, offering maib staff the opportunity to share their impressions of their initial experiences, as well as to gain a better understanding of everyone’s role in achieving our shared goals.
For Andreea, the start of this journey is marked by a great deal of confidence. After a period of studying abroad, she chose to return home:
“I was looking for a place where I could grow, make the most of my creativity and have new opportunities. At maib I found exactly the environment I was looking for.”
Doina, for her part, wanted an environment where professional development goes hand in hand with a sense of belonging:
“I was looking for an organisation where I could work, grow and develop professionally. When I joined maib, I found what I was looking for: I feel part of a team. I feel at home here.”
New Employee Day is one of the initiatives through which we build the maib people’s experience right from the start – an experience based on trust and aligned with maib’s values.
